Good morning,
Here’s the first Asia AI News of the week!
Perhaps the biggest news of the week is China’s upcoming launch of its global blockchain platform - Blockchain Service Network (BSN) - which it plans to launch on Saturday.
As it has done with R&D in artificial intelligence, China has been filing patent after patent in blockchain technology, while it tries to carve out a leadership position.
Of course it will only become a global blockchain platform leader if it gets the backing of global users and developers, but if China makes good on it’s strategy to make building blockchain apps as easy as building with Lego, then global participation may follow.
Stay safe and have a great week!
