Here’s the first Asia AI News edition of the New Year!
It now looks like the phase one US-China trade deal will finally be signed on Wednesday 15 January. However, noone is predicting smooth sailing for 2019, since - as far as we know - the phase one deal doesn’t address core tech and tech investment issues.
Meanwhile, the US announced new measures to limit sales of AI software to China and other countries.
