Not much news over the weekend. However, Kim Sung-soo, South Korea’s ICT Ministry’s vice minister for Science, Technology and Innovation revealed plans to increase the ministry’s R&D budget by nearly 10% on Friday. The ministry’s R&D budget for 2021 is now set at 21.6 trillion won ($18 billion).
