Good morning,
Here’s your Monday edition of Asia AI News!
Not much commercial news around on AI from the weekend. As usual, plenty of politics though.
Meanwhile, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate RAISE 2020 this evening, a global virtual AI conference that will run until Friday. Although, it seems, there will be few details shared on the implementation phase of the country’s national AI strategy.
NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant said at the RAISE 2020 press conference on Saturday that he expects a policy decision on national AI strategy implementation within 60 days, but wouldn’t comment further.
Meantime, you’ll find the agenda for RAISE 2020 here.
Stay safe and have a great week ahead!
