Good morning,
Here’s your Asia AI News for Wednesday!
Chinese AI startup Megvii is in the news again as it reportedly completes its final application with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange to launch its IPO. As mentioned, the timing of this IPO has been the subject of media speculation for the past four months, but most indications have been that Megvii is continuing with its IPO plans, so this looks like the final stretch.
And whilst on IPOs, a Tsinghua University, and Marcum Bernstein and Pinchuk LLP, has found that 66 percent of Chinese CEOs would prefer to list their IPOs in China rather than in the US.
This plus other stories including the latest trade war / trade deal / US blacklist news below!
Have a great day!
