Good morning,
Here’s your Wednesday edition of Asia AI News!
The big news of the week, is that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has granted Huawei a limited role in Britain’s 5G mobile network following a National Security Council meeting yesterday. The move could be a frustration for the US, which has attempted to block Huawei from any role at all in the built out of the West’s next generation mobile networks.
Meanwhile, a new report shows that Indian AI and Analytics startups attracted $762.5 million in funding during 2019, 44% up on 2018.
See below for news of VC funding rounds for Indian startups Cureskin, InterviewBit and WizKlub.
Enjoy your day!
