Good morning, Here’s your Tuesday edition of Asia AI News! You will have noticed that you haven’t received many newsletters over the past few weeks. I took a break over Christmas/New Year, but I’ve also had less time these days to dedicate to the newsletter and have been finding it a struggle to produce Asia AI News daily over the past few months. For this reason, I’m now going to change the frequency of Asia AI News to twice-weekly, sending out a newsletter on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Scroll down for funding stories about Horizon Robotics, HR startup WorkTrans and Quicktron, plus the Korean chatbot startup that’s suspending its own chat bot for foul language, avatar pop stars and new rules from China to counter tighter U.S. restrictions on Chinese companies. Have a great week and I look forward to sending you the next Asia AI News on Friday. /Carrington
