Good morning,
Not much AI news over the weekend, but much is being made of a tweet from a Chinese state newspaper on Sunday. The tweet said that Beijing was insisting that US tariffs must be rolled back as part of any phase one trade deal, although no sources were named.
Meanwhile, Chinese firm Infervision has signed an MoU with the Ethiopian government to help develop a National Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure (NAIF) in Ethiopia. A few days ago, Alibaba Group announced it had signed three agreements with the government for Ethiopia to join eWTP, the Electronic World Trade Platform, to help boost global trade for Ethiopian SMEs.
Have a great week ahead!
