Good morning,
Here’s Monday’s Asia AI News!
18 companies will begin trading on Shenzen’s Nasdaq-style start-up board - ChiNext - today in a first round of listings, under a new U.S.-style IPO system.
The new IPO rules follow months of reforms aimed at fast-tracking initial public offerings and boosting financing for tech firms. The Shenzen exchange has brought in a raft of changes following the past year’s experience of Shanghai’s STAR Market.
However, if you remember the feedback from traders and equity investors on launch of STAR Market in June last year, ‘crazy’ was the operative word! So, let’s see what today brings!
Scroll down for coverage on ChiNext, AI news from around Asia, plus a recap of China-U.S. trade war stories from over the weekend.
Stay safe and have a good week ahead!
