Here’s Tuesday’s edition of Asia AI News!
Internet search and AI technology giant Baidu has joined other big names in China tech by revealing massive plans for new projects, following Beijing’s announcement last month that the government plans to pump more than a trillion dollars into new technology infrastructure. 
Baidu plans to increase its investment in AI, cloud computing, data centres and chips over the next decade, including training 5 million AI experts in the next five years and scaling up to more than 5 million intelligent cloud servers by 2030.
Meanwhile, according to IDC, China’s AI software and application market gew to $2.89 billion last year. Scroll down for more on this and more.
