Good morning,
Here’s Thursday’s edition of Asia AI News!
Still light on startup news, although Malaysia’s Aerodyne Group has announced that it has raised an undisclosed amount of additional funds for its Series B round. The enterprise drone solutions company announced in October last year that it had raised $30 million for its Series B funding, led by InterVest and Kejora Ventures.
In other news Accenture has opened a 300,000 square foot Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, Tamil Nadu University will use AI to stop exam cheats and Prime Minister Narendra Modi reveals India aims to develop 25 new AI-enabled defence products.
All this, plus a roundup of coronavirus updates and Trump administration plans to put additional curbs on China’s technology exports.
Have a good day!
